The Bracelet That Started It All
In 2018, during a season of stress, trauma, and early recovery from Opioid Use Disorder, I needed a tangible tool to stay grounded and shift my mindset.
Doctors couldn’t prescribe medications during my recovery, so I turned to natural healing methods — and found the power of gemstones.
Through my research, I discovered Pink Zebra Jasper, a beautiful stone in shades of white, pink, gray, and beige, known to support stress relief, rest, and emotional healing.
I assembled my first bracelet — the Original 5 Second Rule Bracelet — using segments of 5 Pink Zebra Jasper beads separated by a single Aura bead.
Today, at 5 Second Rule Bracelet, we carry that same spirit — creating tangible tools that remind you of your inner strength and the hope that’s always within reach.

How the 5 Second Rule Bracelet Works
Whenever stress, anxiety, fear, or procrastination would rise up, I would pause, touch each Pink Zebra Jasper bead, and count backwards: 5-4-3-2-1.
Then I would touch the Aura bead, take a deep breath, and either shift a negative thought into a positive one, or act on a positive action — all within 5 seconds.
This simple, powerful practice helped me slow my mind, focus on healing, and create the good habits that continue to anchor me today.
